Connecting to ETN-SC via MetaMask

To start trading on ElectroSwap, you'll first need to connect your MetaMask wallet to the Electroneum Smart Chain. If you're using a mobile device, please be sure to see Mobile Device Access section below. Follow these simple steps to get connected:

Shortcut Method​

  • Head over to ChainList.org, find "Electroneum Mainnet" and click "Connect Wallet"
  • Once your wallet is connected, click "Add to Metamask" and all the details will be added to MetaMask for you. You just need to confirm in MetaMask.

If you prefer manually entering the fields into MetaMask, proceed with the manual method below.

Mobile Device Access​

If you're using a mobile device and encountering issues connecting to ElectroSwap through standard mobile browsers like Safari or Chrome, there's a workaround:

  • Open the MetaMask app on your mobile device (requires download from your Android or iOS app store).
  • Use the built-in browser within the MetaMask app (bottom menu, looks like a compass) to navigate to https://app.electroswap.io

Manual Method​

Step 1: Open MetaMask​

  • Open the MetaMask extension on your browser. If you haven't installed MetaMask yet, you can download it from the official website. Follow the instructions to setup your first account, or import/restore your account from a previous 12/24 word recovery phrase if you have one.

Step 2: Access the Network Selection​

  • At the top of the MetaMask interface, where it displays the network you're currently connected to (likely "Ethereum Mainnet"), click to open the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Add a Network​

  • Scroll down in the dropdown menu and select "Manually add network".

Step 4: Enter the Electroneum Smart Chain Details​

  • In the "Network Name" field, enter Electroneum Mainnet.
  • In the "New RPC URL" field, enter https://rpc.electroneum.com
  • For the "Chain ID", enter 52014
  • In the "Currency Symbol" field enter ETN.
  • In the "Block Explorer URL" field, enter https://blockexplorer.electroneum.com

Step 5: Save and Connect​

  • After entering all the required information, click "Save" to add the Electroneum Smart Chain to your MetaMask wallet.
  • MetaMask will automatically switch to the Electroneum Smart Chain once it's added. If not, you can switch manually by clicking on the network selection dropdown at the top and choosing Electroneum.

Congratulations! Your MetaMask wallet is now connected to the Electroneum Smart Chain. You're all set to start trading on ElectroSwap with the security, speed, and low fees that our platform offers.
